Punching, slamming, stabbing, and cutting have no doubt been used before and that's basically the hulks while power set and arsenal.
It's just a matter of what's faster - DD's evolution, or Hulk's rising anger?ĭoomsday evolves to become immune to whatever defeated (killed?) him, making him exceptionally difficult to kill without special methods. I'll give this to Doomsday 8/10, with Hulk taking 2/10 if he gets mad fast enough to effectively blitz DD before his evolution comes into play. With that, it's likely that Doomsday will eventually be able to knock out Hulk, if he can survive long enough to evolve enough. With that additional power taken into account, it's very possible that Doomsday might evolve some of Hulk's characteristics, such as his ability to get stronger as the fight goes on. He's copied energy absorption from Eradicator, technopathy from Cyborg, and tactile TK from Superboy. He evolves to take on some of the characteristics of his opponent. But it brings up an interesting nugget Doomsday *can* fly, if he's fighting a flying hero.
We can't use that because of the prompt's 'no BFR' rule. The planet is destroyed in their fight, which would effectively BFR both of them since neither can fly to continue punching each other. However, there's an obvious solution we can't use. At first, it looks like Hulk wins because his strength has no limit, while Doomsday's evolving powers have frequently been stated to have limits. This means that the two are going to slug it out until either Doomsday beats Hulk into unconsciousness (difficult) or Hulk gets strong enough to overwhelm Doomsday's ability to evolve and soak damage (also difficult). Doomsday will evolve past exhaustion (if he's even vulnerable to it to begin with) but he isn't smart or strong enough to blitz Hulk right away. Neither of these are going to happen this time. Typically these Hulk matchups end one of two ways either the Hulk wins because his opponent gets exhausted, or the opponent blitzes Hulk before he gets too angry to control. The Hulk gets stronger as he gets angrier, with no upper limit, and this also means he never suffers exhaustion. Doomsday evolves to counter whatever hits him.
